Alice began volunteering at MUST Cherokee after reading about the ministry in her church bulletin and has since served MUST in many ways, including Summer Lunch Program Coordinator and Seasonal Holiday Coordinator. She currently holds the position of Director of Major Gifts for MUST Ministries located in Marietta, GA.

Education and Work History:

Civic Involvement

  • Alice has a long history with philanthropic and charitable organizations, beginning with the YMCA in Summerville, SC in 1998, and most recently, as the President of the Bridgemill Sixes Service League in Canton, GA.
  • She is also a member of the Woodstock, GA Rotary and the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce.
  • Alice was recently honored as the July 2008 Sixes Living and Townelaker magazine’s Path Finder of the month, an award which recognizes individuals that are making a positive difference in their communities.
  • Currently serving on Reinhardt College's Executive Advisory Committee for "A Day For Reinhardt", a scholarship fundraising committee.

Education/Achievements

  • Alice attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, majoring in History

MUST Work History

  • Alice began volunteering at MUST Cherokee 2 - 3 days a week and soon became their Summer Lunch Coordinator for 2007. She then stepped up to coordinate the Seasonal Holiday Outreach programs, which provide Thanksgiving Meal Boxes and Christmas Toys to the community.
  • In her role as Director of Major Gifts, Alice is responsible for working with local corporations, individual contributors, and various other organizations to effectively meet the capital goals to ensure sustainability and growth for the numerous programs MUST provides to the community.
