Stephanie McKay

Stephanie McKay is the Director of Housing for MUST Ministries where she is responsible for managing MUST’s Housing Programs, including the Elizabeth Inn Emergency Night Shelter, Transitional Housing and Permanent Supporting Housing.

Education and Work History:

Education

  • Certified Investigator of Abuse/Neglect and Certified in Case Management in Institutional Settings
  • Graduated from Mt. Vernon College in Washington DC in 1974

Work History

  • 2004 - Present MUST Ministries Housing staff
  • 30 years of experience in the field of human services
  • Acted as an advocate for people with disabilities by working on policy creation and implementation for the Department of Human Resources Division of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Substance Abuse. There she was able to affectively initiate positive legislative changes for people with disabilities. 
  • Coordinator of the PAIMI (Individuals with Mental Illness) Program where she was instrumental in instituting a program of facilities monitoring and person centered advocacy
  • Stephanie has shared her knowledge and passion for persons with disabilities throughout her career with countless trainings and presentations throughout the country
